 The following chart policies apply to all weekly charts released during 2005:
  1. There will be a maximum of three (3) songs per artist allowed on the voting form.  Duets with other artists will count as one song towards each artist.  Collaborations with other artists, such as artists featuring on a song (denoted by "feat." followed by the artist's name(s)) will count as one song towards only the artist(s) before the word "feat.".
    If additional songs are requested to be added for an artist who already has the maximum number, then it will be at our discretion whether any songs are removed and new songs added or if the requested songs will not be added at the current time.
  2. Only one song may feature per position.  So, for example, if a song is released as a double A-side single, both songs will be listed separately.
  3. A song will be removed from the voting form automatically once it has been in the Top 50 for 25 weeks or more and ranks below number 10 (i.e. Any position between 11 and 50).
  4. A song will be removed from the voting form automatically once it has been in the Top 50 for 40 weeks.
  5. It shall be at our discretion to remove songs from the voting form that are experiencing continual declines in the number of votes they receive which results in them not making the Top 50.
  6. Songs that have previously been removed will generally not be added back on the voting form as we feel they have run their course and for them to have been removed in the first place, they would not have sufficient support to make the Top 50.  Songs that have been removed because of either rule 3 or 4 will not even be considered for adding back on the voting form, so please do not request them.
  7. A song is eligible to be added to the voting form only if it is the artist's most recent single release or from their latest album/EP, except when their most recent release does not fall within the past two (2) years for albums and one (1) year for singles (from the earliest release date of New Zealand, Australia, U.S.A and U.K.).
